Shot Into Smithereens One bullet shot through the top of the car. No one was injured. Loud Banging On Sides Of Bus One of the victims was standing next to a bus as it slowed to a stop. A woman boarded from the right and took the middle seat. While the bus was moving, a man, standing in front of the bus, ran back and forth behind it. He ran up to the back, stood next to the woman, and began screaming and banging on the window. The man then started hitting and punching the woman, then ran behind the bus again, turned and came back again. The bus driver drove away. The man in front of the bus was yelling at her and hitting her, but she couldn't hear him because of the loud music. Man Smoking From Motorcycle When asked for the reason for her actions, the driver told police, “I was trying to get this guy to stop smoking from his motorcycle. I got out of my car, and was trying to get him to stop. It didn't work. So I kept on driving.” The officer saw the man riding the motorcycle and saw him spit a piece of tobacco into a street. Police Capture A Rampaging Chicken The officer saw a rooster chasing a man down the street, then attacking him. The rooster had blood on his beak, so the officer assumed the rooster was the aggressor. The man told police he was trying to feed the rooster, but it was determined that the rooster had chased the man and was still trying to attack him, so he was taken in for attempted murder. He said he had the rooster for about two years and he couldn't get rid of it. The Rooster Was Charged With Attempted Murder The rooster also had a knife in his beak, and the officers were so alarmed they gave the man a ticket for allowing a chicken to run at large, said Sgt. Joe Denny of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. The man also got a ticket for fighting a fowl and resisting an officer because when they tried to put the rooster in the police car, he started scratching and clawing, he was that upset. Man Pocket Pistol In His Butt This man was at the airport when he went through the metal detector and the detector went off. Police searched him, but he passed through the metal detector again. After they searched him, the officers decided he had a weapon in his butt. The man admitted to officers that he had a Glock in his butt. Cop Makes A Citizen’s Arrest After a woman refused to pay a ticket because of how high the fine was, the officer arrested her and called the woman's husband to take her home. The officer told the husband he could have her out in 10 minutes, but the husband said he wanted to wait for his wife. The man waited about 45 minutes until a large crowd formed. The officer told the crowd if the man didn't pay the ticket he would be arrested. The man told the officer he would pay the ticket, and the man was put in the back of a patrol car. The husband agreed to pay the ticket, but he was also placed under arrest. Police Capture A Wild Dog The department’s animal control officer said he caught a wild dog inside the station and arrested the man whose dog it was and let him go. The dog’s owner showed up, and he went with the officer to his house and got his dog. The man who had his dog wasn’t interested in prosecuting, so the officer didn't charge him. Police Arrest The Kid Next Door Police arrested a 14-year-old boy for trespassing after they saw him with a can of soda. Woman Fights Cops After Cop Kicks Her Dog's Crate Police stopped this woman and saw she was carrying several pet crates and the police officer told her it was against the law to leave crates outside her car. The woman started shouting, which upset the officer. He took her to the car and read her her Miranda Rights. She became angry and cursed at him, so the officer arrested her for disorderly conduct. She was also charged with trespassing because she was leaving the crates outside her car. She told the police that she was taking them to animal shelter because the cat in the crate had diarrhea and they were all sick from standing in the sun. Man Arrested After Accidentally Knocking Over Officer's Parking Garage Sign This man was riding his bike on the wrong side of the street and knocked over a parking garage sign. He then got into a scuffle with the officer. He left after getting his bike chains cut, and the officer got his. Mugger Smashed Into Police Car With A Car While Trying To Elude Cops The man was trying to make a break from police, but they were driving too fast for him, so he lost control and smashed his car into a police car. When police got the man into the police car, they saw he had a gun and taser. The man had a license to carry a firearm, and his father picked him up from jail. Officer Gets Hit In The Face With A Bag Of Potatoes After making a traffic stop, the officer asked the driver to open the trunk because the passenger was sitting in a bag of potatoes and he thought the driver was hiding contraband in the trunk. The driver took two bags of potatoes out of the trunk and hit the officer in the face with one of them. She was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer and marijuana possession. Officer Smashes The Face Of The Woman He Put In The Cage This officer arrested a woman for not wearing a seatbelt, and he told her to take off her shirt and put it in the back of his car. The woman was arrested, but when he was putting her shirt in the car, he crushed the shirt in his car. When she was sitting in the back of the car, she started kicking and hitting his car. After she was in jail, she posted bail and tried to get her shirt back from the department, but it was too late. Man Arrested For Selling Heroin To The Police Police got information that a man had heroin and the department arranged for him to buy some heroin. Police found him and gave him $400 to buy some drugs, but he didn't want to come out of his house because it was raining. Cop Was Running A Traffic Stop When His Cruiser Went Over The Cliff A motorist speeding, so the officer followed him and he was driving erratically, passing other cars and going in the oncoming lane. The officer ran the car over a curb, and he was arrested for reckless driving and marijuana possession. Man Accused of Wanting To Kill And Eat Police Officers This man allegedly told police he wanted to kill them and eat them. He claimed to have shot his girlfriend in the leg and she didn't want to press charges. Cops Arrest Man With No Brakes Because His Jeep Falls Over An officer told this man his jeep was over at the curb and he didn't have his vehicle registered. When he got inside his house to go get the registration, his wife followed him out to the police car. He started telling her that his jeep was working, but she didn't believe him. She told police she saw the jeep falling over. He was also charged with not having his vehicle inspected. The Police Called Animal Control The owner of the horses saw the officer's SUV sitting in the pasture and came out to check on the horses. The police officer told him they were calling animal control because they saw a horse without a halter. The owner told police there were two horses out there and the police officer told him there were two horses on his property and he didn't have his horses' official horse halters on them and was cited with failure to register. Shooting Of A Cop's Canary Is Justified This officer told the man to drop his canary, which was making a loud noise, and the man refused. The man was arrested for disturbing the peace.
