Terry is known for her role as Mabel Flask in the long-running British science-fiction drama The Tomorrow People, with her starring in spin-off The Tomorrow People: The Movie (2014). She currently appears in Wizards vs Aliens (2016) and in the 2017 feature film Chappie. Personal life Terry was born in London, England, and raised with an older brother. As a child, she was enrolled in dance school to learn ballroom dancing. She started her acting career at a very young age and continued her training in acting and dance at Jackie Palmer School of Dramatic Art. In addition, Terry took singing lessons and dance classes. In 2011, Terry and her longtime partner, Simon Heslett, became engaged. The couple announced their separation in October 2018. Career Terry has appeared on British TV shows including the CBBC show Milkshake!, CITV show M.I.High and the Channel 4 series Hollyoaks.
