Since then, Irene has become one of the most successful singers in China and made a name for herself. This album became one of the most successful albums of all time in China, with 3 new songs she released from this album, “Chinese Medicine” being one of them, which topped all Chinese charts in the first week and ranked 8th in all China charts in 2017. “Shanghai Style” also ranked 12th. Her other song “Ghost” ranked 25th, and “Yihe” (the title song) ranked 30th. Chengdu TV Program "Chinese Musicians Talk” Season 4 2018 Season In 2018, Irene participated in “Singer-in-Chief” show with Huang Xiaoming as the host in Beijing, where she sang her new single “Shanghai Style” which reached to a huge success on Weibo. At the same time, Irene was also invited to join “Chinese Musicians Talk” in Chengdu and was the guest of the event. During the show, Irene played piano, which impressed viewers as well as Irene’s fans all around the world. Irene’s performance was especially interesting and full of charm, which proved her power in playing keyboard, something that made many fans to show their interest in her and her music. Irene and Huang Xiaoming performed an acoustic version of her new single “Shanghai Style,” and this song was broadcasted during the end of the show. The next day, they held the live performance of “Shanghai Style” during “Inkigayo” on Hunan TV, thus becoming the first time Irene’s song was performed on the biggest TV channel in China.
