We also offer our knowledge of this game in our public talk series called "Game Talk" where we share our insight and expertise on a variety of board games we enjoy playing. We have a monthly PnP event where we play and review board games. This is where we showcase these amazing games and play them with our audience. We also encourage discussion during and after the session to help everyone make better tabletop decisions. Board Games 101 - An introduction to card, dice, and board games. Game Nights are monthly in the evenings and occur in the second floor meeting room. We offer several different formats so everyone is able to play and to enjoy their game. Everyone will play in the same faction and try to beat the other factions. A special goal needs to be achieved each round to win the game. You may have a hand of 3 cards at a time. Horse Lords of Aethe - A casual night of horse racing in the Aeternica Province. All ages are welcome. Aeternica Province is a fantasy world based on horse racing, the use of chariots and horses. The province is split into 8 racetracks, a series of race days each with a certain number of events. There are 4 races a day in each track. The Aeternica Province is run on a simple betting system with 3:1 on wins and 3:1 on losses. There are prizes for 1st place, 2nd place, and last place for the day. We host special events and adventures for adults and youth throughout the year. From gaming/history nights, movie nights, to costume parties. We have been recognized for our work in gaming by the National Coalition for Games Play, the New Haven Film & Game Festival, the Connecticut Commission of Culture and Tourism, and our involvement with National STEM Day.
