2012: Reanimation
In 2012 Necro released the album Reanimation, which features vocals from Danny Brown, Lil Durk, Freddie Gibbs, Big Twan and Z-Ro. The album features production by Just Blaze, Mr. Porter, DJ Premier, and many others. The album debuted at #19 on the Billboard 200 charts, selling approximately 19,000 copies its first week. The songs "Dump Dump", "Reanimator" and "Vegas" were all featured in Grand Theft Auto V for the radio station Radio Los Santos. The album was met with generally positive reviews from music critics.
2014: Death Rap 2
In 2014, Necro released his album Death Rap 2, which features vocals from artists like Danny Brown, Freddie Gibbs, Chief Keef, A$AP Ferg and Riff Raff. It debuted at #17 on the Billboard 200, selling 10,000 copies in the first week. It features production from Just Blaze, DJ Muggs, Erick Sermon, Large Professor, The Alchemist and DJ Premier.
2016: The Addiction
Necro's album The Addiction was released on August 25, 2016, and was met with highly positive reviews from music critics. Necro took on the entire production process for the album himself. The album features a guest appearance from D12 member Kokane on the track "M.I.A.". The album featured production from Necro himself as well as guest artists including Zaytoven and Ron Browz among others. A deluxe edition of the album was released for download on iTunes on September 15, 2016.
2018: The Return
In April 2018, Necro announced that he would release a new album, a sequel to 2014's Death Rap 2. Entitled The Return, the album was released on August 17.
Collaborations
Necro has collaborated with many rappers, including Ghostface Killah, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Kool G Rap, Big Pun, Kurupt, M-Gee, DFC, and Eazy-E, as well as the Beastie Boys.
Acting
In addition to his work as a rapper, Necro is an accomplished film and television actor. He appeared in the movie House of the Rising Sun as Odai. He also had a recurring role on the first two seasons of Snoop Dogg's "G-Funk" television series. The pilot episode is available on YouTube. Necro also appeared in the "Dead or Alive 2" video game along with Snoop Dogg.
As a songwriter
"Friends" was co-written by Snoop Dogg, Necro, Kurupt and DJ Battlecat.
Necro contributed on the track "Hustle N Work" for the film 8 Mile.
