Again, I would suggest that it is your job as an MBA not to criticize
individuals who take their skills learned in a particular course and apply
them in the work place. I certainly will not argue with you that the market
in California is down. Here are some quick facts. Since June 2000, 14,743
MW of power plants have been built in California. Since August forward, 3,783
MW of plants are under construction in California. If you take the 5,930 MW
of plants under construction and add them to the 8,283 MW of installed base,
you get 15,213, which is less than the total installed capacity at 7,200 MW.
My point is that the market has been very responsive to the addition of
capacity.
