Gmina Stary Targ __NOTOC__ Gmina Stary Targ is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Sztum County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the town of Stary Targ, which lies approximately east of Sztum and south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk. The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 10,962, of which the population of Stary Targ is 6,289, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 4,673. The gmina contains part of the protected area called Wdydze Landscape Park.
