The Korean Film Archive (also known as the KOBACINE) is an archive dedicated to preserving Korean cinema. It was first established in 2006 and has been located in Yonsei University since then. It houses over 5000 Korean films and 1500 related documents and books.
The Korean Film Archive cooperates with public and private institutions to digitize and share Korean films. Recently, it has partnered with Icons of the New, an organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting Korean film from 1910 to 1960.
