Joe's Bar and Grill offers
a restaurant, bar, lounge and banquet room. The building is located in the heart of
the city at 25 S. Madison Street, at the corner of Washington Street and Jackson
Street. Built in 1853, the historic building has undergone a complete restoration
and now boasts high ceilings, intricate woodwork, original columns and stately
chandeliers. The decor of the main room is reminiscent of Victorian era with
colors of soft browns and tans. One cannot help but notice the beautiful parquet
flooring which runs throughout the room. The restaurant seats between 40 and
50 and opens to the bar, which can seat another 50 and is located adjacent to
the large meeting room, where weddings and other private events are hosted. Joe's
offers a full bar with three large screens TVs mounted above the bar, seven high
definition TVs and a balcony which seats 35, offering another venue for private
events. In the banquet room, the tables are set for up to 200 people. The
banquet room has views of both Washington and Jackson Streets, and has sloped
walls, which allow the sound from the meeting room to carry throughout the
banquet room. The meeting room and the banquet room can be combined for
weddings, with the banquet room serving as the dance floor.

All lunch specials include your choice of soup or salad and Joe's delicious bread
and butter. Joe's Bar offers soup and salad as a lunch special everyday.
Monday through Friday, Joe's also offers a soup or salad and bread special for
only $4.95. Joe's also features a full salad bar with all the favorites:
boiled or grilled chicken, chopped steak, sliced turkey, ham, tuna salad and
cream cheese, mixed greens and more. For dessert, Joe's offers a choice of
brownies, pecan pie or ice cream. Joe's also serves Joe's traditional bread,
butter and whipped cream which is delicious on a warm, fresh-baked bread.
