The Marooning,” and “Giantess.” The Marooning—a girl who breaks the law and decides to punish herself by going to the middle of nowhere and being marooned on a desert island with nothing but a bunch of animals and other people who had bad things happen to them. Turns out she learns who her friends are through being marooned. Giantess—a girl who, while in a trance, gets so big that all the women who were mean to her are trapped under her feet. At the same time, the men all grow bigger because they need to help her find her lost husband. The Turtle Boy—a sea-born boy who, because of a magic snake, is able to breathe under water. Every day he must walk down to the beach and see the woman who will marry him if he doesn’t get back in time. When he reaches her, he loses control of himself and is attacked by sharks for three days. When he wakes up, the woman whom he loved all along is his wife and he thinks he will spend his life with her. But his dog, who is the messenger of the snake that had saved him when he was a baby, reminds him that he had promised to sacrifice himself for one person for three days so the people will not be enslaved again. He then runs off to be sacrificed. At the end of the film, he is seen running off and the movie ends on a shot of his footprints in the sand.
