The Devils We Know by Joe Queenan (FSG Originals) A story of the New Jersey Devil, who was originally called the Jersey Devil but was eventually officially named the Devil, a team mascot of the New Jersey Devils hockey team that won six Stanley Cups. The idea for a mascot was hatched from a contest in the early ‘80s in which the owner of the New Jersey Devils, John McMullen, asked the fans to help pick a name for their mascot. Eventually, they would come up with a name but the mascot would be nameless. The idea was put on hold until McMullen got into an argument with his team during the 1993 season, and decided to bring the idea back, and this time the choice of a name is the main part of the story. 3. The Adventures of Tintin by Hergé (FSG Originals) A young boy, reporter, and many other things, are the essence of this work, and it’s told through comic books. It’s one of the most talked about comic books ever written, especially by some young men who do not realize the impact the story has had on many young minds all over the world. 10. The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger (FSG Originals) For more than seventy years, this book has been the ultimate book of a teenager’s frustration and fear, and how one small action can lead to such anger and anger. It’s the story of a teenager, Holden Caufield, and his relationship with his sister and a woman, whom he would fall in love with. 11. This book is one of the most talked about works of suspense that has a killer, or what the Americans would call a zombie story. The novel tells us the story of a doctor and a boy, and their journey into this zombie apocalypse, and it tells us how they ended up surviving, and how one act that changed their lives forever. 17. Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll (FSG Originals) One of the most talked about book of Alice in Wonderland is the story of a girl who grew up in a world not of her own, but a world ruled by a queen with the most unusual rules. There are also princes and lords, and a young girl, named Alice, who lives in a fictional world in a fictional city in a fictional country that the author named after himself. 18. Dread by Dean Koontz (FSG Originals) A vampire with her very own purpose and feelings with her destiny to find love, as well as find her answers, is one of the main features of this story. This book is based in Los Angeles, and all of the events that take place in the book take place within the state. 19. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (FSG Originals) A novel by Aldous Huxley was first published on 25th of August, 1932. It was later published in different genres of formats with each generation, and is still known to be one of the most talked about stories that exist in the world today. It tells the story of a dystopian future where humanity is divided into groups, and how the characters learn to create a society of their own, as well as creating their own rules. 20. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd (FSG Originals) The story of a young girl who was taken from her family as a young girl and was adopted by a mother who had the ability to hear voices. The book tells us the story of the many struggles that the girl and her foster sisters, who was also taken from their home, faced after the mother’s death. The book tells us about the woman’s gift and her ability to hear voices, and tells us about the history of domestic workers and how the system treated them.
